Inspired by the fantastical worlds created by literary greats such as J.R.R. Tolkien, Fy pays tribute to the concepts of creation and immortality through the story of a fictional world and its inhabitant. Using both spoken text and movement, Fy transports the audience to a setting of steel and water in what was a captivating and visually stunning production. In a new performance model for DRILL, emerging professional performers from around the country, joined the ensemble of young, local dancers to create and perform the work.
